Dream Mangala replacement: £12m Premier League ace open to joining Everton
After deciding to fire Sean Dyche earlier this month, Everton made the quick decision to hire
David Moyes for a second stint at Goodison Park.
After being unemployed since leaving West Ham United last summer, the Scottish manager has
returned to the Merseyside dugout for another stint.
The former Manchester United head coach has had an almost ideal start to his career at the club, winning his first three Premier League games against Brighton & Hove Albion and Tottenham
Hotspur.
However, the head coach of the Toffees has already faced hardship after losing several important
players to exasperating injuries during the last week or two.
Orel Mangala is expected to miss the remainder of the season owing to an ACL injury, and Dominic Calvert-Lewin sustained a hamstring injury during last night’s victory over Brighton and will be sidelined for weeks.
Everton keen on Premier League midfielder
Journalist Graeme Bailey told Everton News that Sean Longstaff, a central midfielder for Newcastle United, is amenable to a move to Goodison Park before the season’s second half begins.
In an attempt to strengthen their roster, the Toffees are reportedly interested in a deal to add the
English midfield star to the team before the deadline, according to Bailey.
The player would be eager to make the move, according to the Daily Mail, which also claims that
Everton is considering a possible bid to recruit the Magpies academy graduate in the next few days…
