The FA has banned a Derby County player for ten games and charged him with violent conduct for allegedly fighting on staff.

Bradley Johnson, a midfielder for Derby County, has been banned from four games by the FA and charged with violent conduct for allegedly biting Joe Allen.

Oghenekaro Etebo of Stoke was sent off in his team’s 2-1 victory on Wednesday,

and the two got into a fight.

According to TV replays, Johnson bit Allen’s shoulder.

The football organization confirmed in a statement on Friday night that Johnson would be banned for his behavior.

In addition, Johnson will miss another football game since he received five cautions.

Bradley Johnson was given a four-game suspension after it was determined that he had engaged in violent behavior for which the usual penalty would be obviously inadequate, according to an FA statement.

During Wednesday’s encounter [November 28, 2018],

the Derby County player got into a confrontation with Stoke City’s Joe Allen that was captured on camera but was not witnessed by the match officials.

In response to the FA’s claim that the three-match suspension ought to be extended,

Johnson refuted the violent behavior charge before an Independent Regulatory Commission.

“After receiving five cautions,

the player will receive a one-match ban in addition to the suspension for violent behavior.”

Allen had claimed after the game that Johnson had only bitten his jersey,

but the FA stated that an Independent Regulatory Commission would try the Derby player after examining the incident’s video.

After the initial charge, Stoke manager Gary Rowett,

who oversaw Johnson at Derby the previous season,

attempted to downplay the incident.

“We will not file any complaints,” Rowett declared. Joe told me it wasn’t something really troublesome when we chatted.

It probably appeared worse than it actually was because it was a part of the melee.

“People asked me at half-time what had happened and suggested I’d been bitten, but to clear it all up, that didn’t happen,” Allen remarked,

supporting his manager’s assertions that he was not bitten by Johnson.

“I think we can put that one to rest, even though he might have caught a bit of my shirt.”
