Just in: Carney Chukwuemeka’s true feelings over a transfer to Everton
Given that the Scot is now dealing with a number of injuries,
David Moyes is hoping to add a few players to the team. After consecutive Premier League victories,
Everton’s position appears to be much better.
However, the Toffees must make some signings in the near future or risk
being dragged back into a relegation battle.
Few would argue with the Premier League’s all-time top scorer when Alan Shearer said
Everton needed one or two players to escape relegation.
Carney Chukwuemeka is one player who has been floated as a potential addition to Everton,
and an intriguing rumor regarding the Chelsea youngster surfaced today.
Everton is also interested in Kieran Dewsbury-Hall, so it will be interesting to see if either team
moves to Goodison Park in the near future. However, Harry Watkinson of TEAMtalk
provided an update on Chukwuemeka earlier today, and he thinks the midfield player
would be amenable to moving to Goodison.
It will be very interesting to see which midfielder Everton plump for in the coming days.
But Chukwuemeka would not be a bad addition at all.
The star, who signed for Chelsea for £20 million (BBC Sport) from Aston Villa,
is someone who would being both power and technicality to Everton’s engine room.
As per Football Talent Scout, he is a ‘midfielder that imposes himself on the pitch with his physicality,
work rate, energy and determination’, which surely suggests him as being ideal for Moyes.
