Norwich City Close to Signing Rising Star Linked to Chelsea and Liverpool
Alan Domeracki, a star for Dundee United, is expected to join Norwich City, according to the Pinkun
and the Eastern Daily Press. The 18-year-old midfielder reportedly flew to Norfolk and finished his medical exam without incident. After making an impression north of the border, Alan Domeracki will first play for the Canaries’ under-21 team.
Norwich Set to Sign Alan Domeracki
has been a vital member of Dundee’s academy for almost nine years and has made two appearances
for their Under 20s in the Scottish Challenge Cup, which is the EFL trophy’s equivalent. When Domeracki was 15, he was frequently linked to moves to Chelsea and Liverpool, two of the biggest
teams in the Premier League. A year later, at the age of sixteen, he agreed to a fresh two-year deal
with the Terrors.
After forward Brandon Forbes came during the summer transfer window and has since been a
standout performance for their under-21 team, this will be the second time in six months that the Canaries have acquired a young player from Dundee United. His countryman is now expected to
join him in Premier League 2.
Paul Cowie, the director of the United academy, described Domeracki’s skills as follows: “Having
spent more than seven years in the academy, he is a creative left-sided midfielder with all the qualities
to advance further in the game.”
“The secret to his recent growth has been patience. Alan has the drive and conviction to put in a lot of effort and take advantage of every chance he gets, on and off the pitch, in order to advance his growth.
