JUST IN: Rylan Brownlie, a young star from Australia, has agreed to a free move with Crystal Palace.

The highly regarded forward has performed well enough during his time training at Palace to receive an offer from the Eagles, with terms agreed upon.

Although he signed his first professional contract last year after rising through the ranks in Brisbane, he left the A-League team in July 2024.

The teenager will now play in England, following in the footsteps of his father, Royce.

During the 2023–24 season, Brownlie made 12 A-League appearances, recording one goal and one assist.

At the senior level, Oliver Glasner’s team defeated Ipswich 1-0 on the road on Tuesday, December 3, putting them well clear of relegation danger.

After 14 games, the Croydon club is now three points above the drop zone.

In addition, Palace is planning to sign a Man City player in January.
