
After Bristol City’s draw with Sheff on Wednesday, Liam Manning makes an officiating admission.

In his post-match press conference in Sheffield, Manning expressed his opinion that
referee James Linington had a “tough” evening. However, following the Reds’
2-1 victory over Blackburn Rovers, Manning affirmed that the officials had acknowledged their errors.
“He [Twine] had a frustrating evening the other night, to which the officials
came back and kind of put their hands up,” the City head coach clarified.
“The foul for the goal was one of many mistakes they made the other night.
“We got a report back saying there were a couple of fouls that weren’t
given including the goal at Sheffield Wednesday.”
