Nottingham Forest submit bid to sign “incredible” striker
According to a recent rumour, Nottingham Forest has made a £25 million offer to recruit Nuno
Espirito Santo, a striker who is described as “incredible.”

Espirito Santo’s Reds may have a busy closing to the transfer window as they try to bolster their
roster in the hopes of finishing in the top four of the Premier League. Nuno will be hoping that Saturday’s 5-0 loss to AFC Bournemouth doesn’t ruin Forest’s campaign, even though the team is
still very much in the running for a European position for the following season.
Nottingham Forest submit transfer bid to sign £25m striker
Nottingham Forest has made an attempt to sign Igor Jesus from Botafogo, a team in Brazil.
The Premier League team made an offer that was over €30 million, or about £25 million. Botafogo
has not yet discussed a deal with Forest, despite reportedly finding this offer “interesting.” This is because Jesus, who is now content at Botafogo and has a contract there through December 2027,
has declined the Reds’ offer.
Given that Chris Wood is Forest’s top scorer, Nuno may still be eager to add players to his forward
line this month. The Forest manager will want to provide competition and support for the New
Zealand international as they attempt to stay in the top four.
Jesus, who is only 23, could have been the perfect addition because he still has a lot of time and room
to grow. He has also demonstrated a keen eye for goal, and considering how well Wood has performed under Nuno, Jesus might have followed suit.
