DEAL DONE: Everton sign title-winning 26 y/o from Champions League club
Danilo Barbosa is the most recent player to be linked to a move to Goodison Park in the days ahead,
and the Blues are running out of time to make new acquisitions. The defensive midfielder for
Botafogo is seen as a good addition because of his successful time playing in Europe with Braga,
Nice, Valencia, Standard Liege, and Benfica.

Everton is also rumoured to be attempting to recruit Kieran Dewsbury-Hall, a midfielder for Chelsea,
on loan for the rest of the season after he had a difficult time at Stamford Bridge after joining from Leicester City last summer.
The Merseysiders have allegedly been attempting to sabotage West Ham’s pursuit of Brian Brobbey,
an attacker for Ajax, but the Hammers seem to be the front-runners to sign the 22-year-old Dutchman. Even though he has only scored once in his 17 Eredivisie games this season, David Moyes could think
he can get the most out of him.
Everton close to signing Champions League player
Tuttosport [via Goodison News] reports that Everton is getting closer to a £5 million deal to sign
right-back Angelo Preciado from Sparta Prague.
If the deal goes through, it would be Moyes’ first acquisition since returning to the Blues as manager.
He is searching for late January deals to strengthen his team.
Preciado, who has made three appearances in the Champions League this season and four appearances for Ecuador at Copa America last summer, might be the ideal addition to the Blues’ lineup.
Moyes might be getting two players for the price if he uses the 26-year-old as a wide player because he is also a flexible player who can play well as a right winger.
