‘Dangerous’ – Transfer window clock ticking as Coventry City deal dead in water

As the January transfer window draws to a close, Sky Blues head coach Frank Lampard gives an

Coventry City has yet to sign a player, and the transfer window is closing. They came very close

last Wednesday when Rangers winger Rabbi Matondo was supposed to sign a loan deal with the Sky Blues. However, the deal fell through on Thursday because the clubs couldn’t agree on the bonuses

that were part of the deal, according to reports.

CoventryLive now realises that the transaction is a complete bust, and City has moved on to something else. Given his numerous injuries and the lack of midfield options due to Ben Sheaf’s calf strain, Frank Lampard has made no secret of his desire to “help” his team by adding players on the wings.
