Cowboys icon hits out at team with brutal four-word putdown after underwhelming head coach hire
The promotion of offensive coordinator Brian Schottenheimer to head coach has been criticised by Dallas Cowboys legend Dez Bryant.
Although Bryant was by no means the only critic of the Cowboys landing on Schottenheimer, he did deliver a distinctive four-word critique of the team that helped make him well-known.
Bryant was one of the top players in the NFL before a series of injuries forced him to retire. He
played for Dallas from 2010 to 2017.
In light of his endorsement of Colorado head coach and fellow Cowboys legend Deion Sanders for
the position, Bryant also included the word “smh.”
Bryant speaks for more than just himself when he says that the Cowboys fan base finds
Schottenheimer’s appointment to succeed Mike McCarthy to be uninspiring.
“I genuinely don’t know how to feel at the moment.” “I said,” Bryant said. What Jerry meant when he said he was “all in” is something I’m attempting to comprehend. Even if the coach may or may not be good, I don’t feel that the Cowboys will succeed anytime soon based on the way they’ve been handling things.
