JUST IN: The most recent Celtic transfers involving Kyogo Furuhashi and Jota
Brendan Rodgers is likely to lose Kyogo Furuhashi to Rennes, as the Japanese striker arrived in France last night to finalize his transfer to the Ligue 1 club for approximately £10 million.
Fabrizio Romano cushioned this setback by providing some major news regarding a significant addition to the club in former Celtic winger Jota, who appears poised to return to Scotland after spending a year and a half in Saudi Arabia and France, respectively.
Reports indicate that the intention was for Jota to travel to Glasgow today (Friday) to finalize his signing with the club, but Storm Eowyn has delayed this for approximately the next 24 hours. Maybe he will be revealed at Celtic Park on Saturday afternoon against Dundee?
In this morning’s Celtic briefing, which can be viewed with the video player at the end of this article or by following this link, Hamish, Tony, and Kevin discussed these developments and the search for a new striker.
