Wrexham would have been disappointed to only come away with a 1-1 draw following a spirited display against league leaders Birmingham City.

Fans were impressed with Wrexham’s performance against the League One high-flyers given how poorly they played against Shrewsbury last time out

George Dobson heaped praise on Ollie Rathbone after Rathbone opened the scoring with a wonderful effort into the bottom left hand corner that gave Birmingham goalkeeper Allsop no chance.

 

Wrexham would have been disappointed not to come away with three points given their domination in the second half but Phil Parkinson was pleased with his side’s efforts – perhaps it was down to a rousing team talk before the game
