Ipswich Town plotting late transfer move for Sheffield United player
This January, a number of teams are interested in signing Sheffield United forward Ryan Oné, including Monaco and Ipswich Town.
Ahead of the winter market’s end, L’Equipe claims that the 18-year-old is drawing attention from a variety of sources.
This season, Oné has made ten appearances for the Blades in the Championship and scored one goal.
Since the young player’s contract with the Yorkshire team expires in the summer of 2029, the club is not in a rush to decide on his future.
Ryan Oné transfer latest
England and other countries are showing interest in Oné ahead of the transfer deadline on February 3.
The Scotland youth international is allegedly being considered for a move by Ligue 1 powerhouse Monaco.
Oné has also been linked to Premier League teams Ipswich as a possible next stop, and it’s believed the Tractor Boys are almost ready to make an official approach for the youngster.
Oné’s future could be impacted by Cannon arrival
Considering how many choices Sheffield United has, that might make a deal for Oné possible this month.
With Cannon joining the team, someone will be losing playing time as Wilder has only had one up
front all season (until that changes).
At this point in his career, Oné is still young and doesn’t need to play every week, but the opportunity
to relocate to Monaco or Ipswich would be alluring.
The amount needed to persuade Sheffield United to cash in is still unknown, but it would be worth watching in the last days of the transfer window.
