An exciting new loan-to-buy transfer update about Leeds’ acquisition of Buendia for £75k per week

An exciting new loan-to-buy transfer update about Leeds’ acquisition of Buendia for £75k per week

Leeds United is in a strong position to secure automatic promotion from the Championship as things stand,

but a four-horse race is emerging with Sheffield United, Burnley, and Sunderland. Emiliano Buendia,

an attacker for Aston Villa, has been linked to Leeds United before the transfer deadline.

Since Leeds has not made a January signing, Daniel Farke and the 49ers Enterprises

have not added any new players to the Whites squad in 2025.  “Leeds are playing the

long game with him. The longer it goes on in the window, the more chance they will have of getting him.

They like him, no secret in that. They see Buendia as that extra little something.” A return to the division with

Farke at Leeds has been suggested, and a new development has surfaced. According to journalist Graham Bailey,

speaking to Leeds United News, Farke sees Buendia as part of his Premier League plans at Leeds,

with those at Elland Road considering including an obligation to buy in a loan deal if the Whites gain promotion.

“If you don’t see Buendia as part of the Premier League plans, we won’t pay him a loan fee and huge wages,

which is what he is on, just for a few months.” “Villa is insisting on an obligation now.

Whether they still do come the last week of the window [remains to be seen]” is the question that the

Leeds hierarchy will now pose to Farke.
