Rangers need Ryan Reynolds factor as Wrexham hold key answers to closing the gap on Celtic
As investment at Ibrox is being contemplated, Rangers have been informed they need the
Hollywood element that Wrexham has in order to go closer to Celtic.
Rafael Fernandes, a defender, has joined the Light Blues on loan from Lille as part of their ongoing transfer efforts.
Rangers choose to pursue initiatives like Jefte and Hamza Igamane in the hopes of
making a nice profit because Scottish clubs rarely have the luxury of signing primed and ready players.
Celtic has successfully implemented this strategy, which, coupled with Premiership titles and Champions League revenue,
has helped them outspend their local competitors.
Go Radio has covered the SPFL’s cash-related conversation.
Rangers star Billy Dodds was questioned by host Paul Cooney on the need for a financial boost at his former team as the gap to Celtic grows.
When asked if he saw someone joining the Light Blues in their quest to return to their previous glory,
Dodds cited the evolving narrative in League One in England.
Owned by the Hollywood team of Rob McElhenney and Ryan Reynolds, Wrexham has returned to
the EFL and is vying for the championship. Additionally, he thinks Rangers need the advantages that Hollywood stars like Wrexham have enjoyed.
The former striker stated: “It would be fantastic if it were broadcast on television, but the
Champions League is currently the best opportunity for Scottish clubs, and you have to be performing well.
However, that all depends on the financial situation and the quality of the player you have.”
After they join the team and you perform well, you receive Champions League funds, and you can
either build on it or try something completely new and different.
That’s Wrexham, the movie star, as you can see.
