Leeds United vs. Norwich City postponement update

JUST IN: Leeds United vs. Norwich City postponement update

The Met Office has issued an amber warning for mist in some areas of West Yorkshire ahead of Wednesday night’s (January 22) Championship match.

Although visibility is still predicted to be poor, the Leeds city region is only issued a yellow mist warning, so there is no immediate chance that the game will be postponed. Leeds United hopes to replicate their heroics against Norwich, who they faced four times last season in the Championship play-offs, including nearly exactly a year ago at Elland Road in January.

On January 22, 2024, Patrick Bamford’s header was sufficient to give United a 1-0 victory. Although he will not play this time around due to injury, Daniel Farke’s front line still has plenty of firepower.
