Following the breakdown of West Brom negotiations, Stoke City is one of the clubs considering an Ipswich Town deal.

The Potters are one of the teams pursuing the Iraqi international during the midseason transfer window,

according to the East Anglian Daily Times.

Since joining Ipswich in January of last year, Al-Hamadi has had difficulty getting regular playing time,

especially after the team was promoted to the Premier League.

He missed a penalty kick in an FA Cup match against Bristol Rovers earlier this month,

putting the ball wide from 12 yards out. He scored four goals in 14 Championship games the previous season,

but has not scored in 11 Premier League games this season.

The 22-year-old was being pursued by West Brom, but the East Anglian Daily Times claimed on

Tuesday night that the deal had fallen through.

With several Championship teams interested in a transfer for the Tractor Boys periphery player,

it is thought that Ipswich is open to both permanent and loan agreements for the striker this month.

Al-Hamadi, who joined from AFC Wimbledon around this time last year following a successful spell in League Two,

is now rumored to be considering Stoke as his next destination.
