Breaking News: A Leeds United player is expected to remain at Elland Road despite rumors of a French transfer…

Despite interest from French team Paris FC, Leeds United midfielder Josuha Guilavogui is expected to stay at Elland Road to compete for his spot, according to RMC Sport.

Despite being recruited to Yorkshire earlier this season as a backup, the 34-year-old former French international has hardly played, playing just 48 minutes in 10 Championship games.

Despite being well regarded within the club, the midfielder has become disgruntled in recent weeks due to a lack of playing time; this season, he has only started once, in an FA Cup third-round victory over Harrogate Town.

Guilavogui’s contract at Elland Road is set to expire at the end of the current campaign, and because of his lack of playing time, he has been linked to a move away from the Whites during the January transfer window.

A French Ligue 2 team has expressed interest, and the most recent report from French publication RMC Sport has made clear what Guilavogui’s prospects are after January.
