Aston Villa must make a new transfer decision as teams consider loan moves.

Aston Villa may have to make a new choice during the January transfer window because there are rumors that the adaptable Lamare Bogarde will leave the team on loan before the February 3rd deadline. After spending a total of 12 months on loan at Bristol Rovers, Bogarde has made his debut with the main team at Villa this season.

In 2020, the young Dutchman moved from Feyenoord to Villa as the team’s owners, NSWE, started looking elsewhere in Europe to bolster their academy. After making his senior debut against Liverpool in the FA Cup earlier that season, Bogarde went on to lead Villa’s under-18 team win the FA Youth Cup in 2021.

In August of last year, Bogarde, who turns 21 this month, agreed to a new long-term deal with Villa, despite rumors that Nottingham Forest, a Premier League and Midlands rival, was interested in him. Since then, he has increasingly established himself in the first-team surroundings.

This season, Bogarde has started in the Premier League victories over Everton and Leicester City, the Champions League victory over Young Boys, and the draw with Crystal Palace. Bogarde most recently appeared as a first half substitute.
