La Liga club Leganes have reportedly made enquiries over a transfer deal for Cyriel Dessers.
It’s reported the Spanish side have interest in the out-of-favour Rangers frontman.
Dessers has fallen down the pecking order under Philippe Clement with Danilo and Hamza Igamane preferred in recent months.
It’s understood Rangers are open to selling Dessers with preliminary talks having already taken place with interested cubs.
Now, reports from Spain have suggested Leganes could join a host of clubs keen on a deal for the Rangers forward.
Relevo journalist Matteo Moretto simply posted: “Leganés has asked about Cyriel Dessers.”
Dessers, 30, is under contract for another two years after moving to Glasgow from Cremonese in 2023.
Italian clubs Cagliari and Empoli have also been linked with Dessers in recent weeks with Rangers chiefs ready to explore the options to sell Dessers.
Nigeria internationalist Dessers has played 31 times for Rangers so far this season, scoring 12 goals in the process.
His last start came in the 2-2 draw with Motherwell on December 29 with the striker only called upon as a substitute since then. His last league goal came on December 4.
