£23.4m DONE DEAL: Chelsea midfield maestro Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall finally agrees to sign a new contract
Brentford is keeping an eye on Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, who is deemed surplus to requirements at Chelsea. Although not the frontrunner, Brentford is among several clubs, including Arsenal, Leicester City, Fulham, Rangers, Tottenham Hotspur, Aston Villa, Newcastle United, Brighton & Hove Albion, and Manchester United, showing interest in the midfielder. Chelsea is receptive to offers, as Dewsbury-Hall, who has made only five Premier League appearances out of 14 in all competitions, has not lived up to the club’s expectations. With the January transfer window approaching, Chelsea is looking to recoup their investment, presenting a prime opportunity for Brentford and others to possibly secure a deal for the 26-year-old who is in search of regular playing time.
