Klopp’s plan to celebrate if Manchester City found guilty of 115 charges: ‘Parade in my garden’
The former Reds manager emphasised that if the court battle goes their way, a party might be in
order.
Jurgen Klopp, the former manager of Liverpool, acknowledges that if Manchester City were to
lose their Premier League crowns due to an ongoing legal dispute, he would ecstatically celebrate.
Manchester City, which won six league titles under Klopp’s leadership at Liverpool, was accused
of more than 100 violations of Premier League financial regulations in 2023. The charges have
been contested by the city, and a decision is still pending.
When asked if the case will lead to his winning more league titles, Klopp responded, “Should, I
don’t say anything about that.”
I’m not in Mallorca much at the moment, but if it would happen, I told everyone who wanted it,
‘Just book a flight, I purchase the beer.'” But if it did, we had this conversation before we went.
“We would create our own parade in my lawn to celebrate anything we have, whether it’s
wonderful weather or something else entirely.
“We’ll see. I didn’t even follow it. We shall see.
Meanwhile, Klopp has emphasised that he has no regrets and expressed his wish that Trent
Alexander-Arnold, Virgil van Dijk, and Mohamed Salah remain with the team.
