Celtic ‘weighing up’ transfer offer for £8.5m La Liga winger

According to El Norte de Castilla, Celtic are considering a move for Real Valladolid’s 22-year-old winger Raul Moro, who is valued at £8.5 million. Ajax is also reportedly interested in the Spaniard. Moro has four goals in 19 appearances for the La Liga club.

However, The Daily Mail reports that Moro may be allowed to leave the club this month in order to fund trade deals to boost other parts of the relegation-threatened side.

 

 

Ajax technical director Alex Kroes has expressed interest from the Eredivisie team, but no agreement has been made on a trade.

The Dutch club has reportedly failed to meet Valladolid’s asking price for the winger.

Kroes stated, “We are interested in Raul Moro, definitely. Moro can play on either the left or right wing.

According to reports, Valladolid is aware of Celtic’s interest, but the Parkhead club has not made an offer.

Meanwhile, Celtic have been linked with a deal to sign Sarpsborg winger Sondre Orjasaeter.

According to the same report, the 21-year-old has undergone intensive scouting and is being pursued by a number of European clubs.
