Saints’ Cam Jordan Snags 2025 Bart Starr Award for Game-Changing Impact On and Off the Field!
Cam Jordan received a highly prestigious honor on Thursday.
On Thursday, Athletes in Action announced Saints defensive end Cam Jordan as the recipient of the 2025 Bart Starr Award. The prestigious honor was presented by Tony Dungy, who fondly recalled meeting Jordan as a child while coaching his father, Steve Jordan, with the Vikings.
“It was a full-circle moment and a thrill to inform him of this selection,” Dungy shared on Twitter. The award, voted on by players, celebrates outstanding character, integrity, and leadership both on and off the field—past recipients include Drew Brees and Demario Davis.
“A little bit of good can go a long way,” said Jordan, expressing gratitude for his foundation’s role in his achievements. The Cam Jordan Foundation collaborates with groups like the Youth Empowerment Project and Boys & Girls Clubs of America to support youth development and create growth opportunities.
Corwin Anthony, Executive Director of the Super Bowl Breakfast, praised Jordan’s character and dedication to the New Orleans community. The 38th annual NFL-sanctioned Super Bowl Breakfast will honor Jordan on Feb. 8 in New Orleans. Fans eagerly hope Jordan will also clinch the Walter Payton Man of the Year Award.
