BREAKING NEWS: Tottenham Fires Ange Postecoglou after Nottingham Forest loss
Spurs have recently played poorly, and there have been increasing calls for Postecoglou to be fired.
According to reports, Tottenham is happy with Ange Postecoglou as manager but may fire him if
the team’s performance continues to deteriorate.
On Boxing Day, Tottenham lost to Nottingham Forest for the fourth time in seven games, dropping
the capital team to 11 points below the top four.
It has been reported, though, that Spurs will not hesitate to fire the former Celtic manager if their
on-field performance doesn’t significantly improve.
However, Postecoglou has acknowledged that he is unwilling to compromise his morals in order
to attain those outcomes, asserting that he will appear to be a “genius” if it ultimately succeeds.
“There are always people in life [who are] looked at a bit curiously because they do things a bit differently and they’re a bit of a joke until they get it right, then all of a sudden they’re a genius,”
the 59-year-old said during the holiday season. That most likely applies to us at the moment.
“As a manager, the first thing you consider is if the players are still reacting to this or if they are searching for another option. I haven’t had any sense of that.
