Phillipe Clement issues warning to pyro thugs and celtic midfielder
Phillipe Clement has warned Rangers fans that using fireworks will cost the club money and prevent him from investing in his players.
Clement joined Brendan Rodgers in criticizing Rangers, Celtic, and Motherwell for their ‘irresponsible’ and ‘inappropriate’ usage of fireworks during last month’s interrupted Premier Sports Cup semi-finals at Hampden Park.

The three clubs will face independent disciplinary tribunals early next year, with both Old Firm managers hoping that the incidents that marred the semi-finals do not repeat itself when the city rivals meet in the final on Sunday.
Celtic’s last-four match against Aberdeen was delayed by 14 minutes due to smoke in the stadium caused by fans in the Glasgow club’s end setting off rockets and flares.
The following day’s Rangers-Motherwell game was again delayed by five minutes after both sets of fans fired off fireworks, despite a ban on their use in Scottish stadiums being implemented in 2023.
Rangers recently declared a financial deficit of £17 million, and Clement thinks that an anticipated fine for pyrotechnics could cost him funds in January.
