La rosa dell’Inter e le regole del calciomercato sono influenzate dalla Coppa del Mondo per Club FIFA

Today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, via FCInterNews, note the changes.

Inter will be participating in the Club World Cup at the end of the season.

The Nerazzurri are one of two Italian teams in the competition along with Juventus.

And apart from the expansion of the format, FIFA have also moved the scheduling for the Club World Cup.

Rather than taking place in December, midway through the European club season, the Club World Cup will happen after the end of the European campaign.

How FIFA Club World Cup Changes Squad & Transfer Rules For Inter
Considering the timing of the Club World Cup, there is an awkward aspect of some players at European clubs seeing their contracts run out at the end of June.

Therefore, FIFA have allowed clubs an additional transfer window between June 1st and June 10th to bolster their squad.

The Italian FA have confirmed this decision.

Meanwhile, clubs participating in the Club World Cup can name preliminary squads containing as many as fifty players.

The final squad lists can be no larger than 35 players, however. And they must contain a minimum of 26 players.
