Hours before the AGM, a ‘raging’ Rangers fan board attacks the club and charges them with hiding crucial financial information.

The Rangers Fan Advisory Board have lashed out at the club for failing to share minutes of a meeting

with Ibrox financial chief James Taylor – with the attacking coming just hours before the AGM.

The group was set up to provide a link between supporters and the hierarchy but a breakdown has

emerged after they released a statement saying that Rangers powerbrokers have failed to hand over

details of a meeting that took place last month.

Rangers shareholders will gather at Glasgow’s Clyde Auditorium on the banks of the Clyde for their

annual meeting and the FAB took to social media to say:

“We are extremely disappointed that Minutes of a meeting with Rangers CFO James Taylor on

Nov 5 have still not been made available by the club, despite our repeated requests.

“The purpose of the meeting was to raise issues around the club’s financial results and provide clarity and

context to help in form fan analysis ahead of the AGM.

Delays in publishing minutes to our meetings are completely unacceptable and we expect the club to

move much more quickly in the future to ensure appropriate fan insight.”

After setting up the Fan Advisory Board, the club said:

“The Fan Advisory Board is integral in shaping the future of Rangers,

offering critical insights and guidance on key club matters and policies.

Meeting quarterly with senior club management,

the FAB embodies the voices and perspectives of our broader fanbase,

ensuring their views are central to our strategic decisions.”

The Fan Advisory Board was set up last November and consists of Stuart Langan (Chair),

Matt Boyd (Vice Chair), Fahd Ikram Bari, Jamie Cook, Kelly Johnstone, Craig Hannah and Gary Ralston.

Ex chief executive James Bisgrove, now in the Saudi Pro League after leaving the club at the end of last season,

said at the time,: “The introduction of the Fan Advisory Board is a testament to our commitment to meaningful

and structured engagement with the Rangers support.
