In the competition to capture Bologna defender Sam Beukema, Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid are prepared to join Inter Milan and Juventus.

According to FCInterNews, this is the case with Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia. The Spanish powerhouses reportedly deployed scouts to observe the 26-year-old play against Lille in the Champions League.
Beukema has been having yet another fantastic season for Bologna at the defense.

In the summer of 2023, the Dutchman left AZ Alkmaar to join the Rossoblu.

And under Thiago Motta, Beukema played a significant part in the Emilian team’s unexpected Champions League qualification.

Beukema has largely continued where he left off this season. He has played a crucial role in Bologna’s defense as they strive for a second European qualification under Vincenzo Italiano.

Real Madrid & Atletico Madrid Join Inter & Juventus In The Race For Sam Beukema

Beukema’s form for Bologna has hardly escaped the noticed of Europe’s big clubs.

In Serie A, the 26-year-old is certainly on the radar of some of the top clubs in the division.

Inter see Beukema as being among the targets to bolster the defense after Stefan de Vrij and Francesco Acerbi are phased out.

Meanwhile, Juventus could aim to reunite Beukema with Thiago Motta after the pair worked successfully together last season at Bologna.

Then there is also interest in Beukema’s signature from the Premier League, reports Sky.

But alternatively, the Dutchman could be heading to the Spanish capital.
