C Milan are looking to strengthen their midfield in the upcoming January transfer window, and a new name has emerged as a potential target. Warren Bondo, the young French midfielder currently playing for Monza, has caught the attention of the Rossoneri management.

Calciomercato report how the 20-year-old Bondo joins a list of midfield prospects that Milan is considering, which includes Reda Belahyane from Hellas Verona, Morten Frendrup from Genoa, Lucas Gourna-Douath from Salzburg, and Johnny Cardoso from Real Betis.

Bondo, who is under contract with Monza until June 2027, arrived in Italy in the summer of 2022 on a free transfer from Nancy. After a brief loan spell with Reggina in Serie B from January to June 2023, he has become a regular fixture in Monza’s squad. The young Frenchman has made 44 appearances for Monza, scoring one goal—notably in the 4-2 victory against Milan on February 18—and providing one assist. His record also includes 12 yellow cards and one red card, demonstrating his combative style of play.

Milan’s interest in Bondo demonstrates their continuous pursuit of young, potential players to bolster their midfield options. However, they may have competition for his signature, as rumors indicate that Lazio is also monitoring the player’s position.
