Cowboys‘ Injury Woes: CeeDee Lamb and Cooper Rush Face Setbacks Ahead of Giants Clash
Dallas Cowboys star receiver CeeDee Lamb is contending with multiple injuries ahead of the team’s Thanksgiving Day game against the New York Giants. Although Lamb previously sustained a sprained AC joint in his right shoulder earlier this season, his current issues—a back and foot injury—are unrelated. These setbacks have left him limited in practice for the past two days.
“This is definitely one of the toughest years as for me body-wise,” Lamb admitted after Tuesday’s practice.
Despite the physical challenges, Lamb, who signed a four-year, $136 million extension before the season, remains determined to play. “That ain’t stopping nothing that’s for sure,” he said about the possibility of missing time.
The Cowboys also face concerns at quarterback, as backup Cooper Rush, filling in for Dak Prescott who is out following hamstring surgery, is nursing a knee injury suffered against the Washington Commanders. Coach Mike McCarthy noted that while Rush has progress to make, “He’s got some work to do, but I think we’re gonna be fine.”
