The La Liga season for 2024–2025 begins on August 15, 2024, and ends at the end of May 2025.

Some will be vying for glory through the Golden Boot award in addition to the fight for European spots and to stay in the division, as well as the attempt to unseat Real Madrid as champions.

The player who scores the most goals throughout the league season receives this honor, which is also referred to as the Pichichi in Spain. Artem Dovbyk, a striker for Girona who is currently at Roma, defeated Jude Bellingham of Real Madrid, Robert Lewandowski of Barcelona, and Alexander Sorloth of Villarreal, who is currently with Atletico Madrid, in the 2024–25 season.

But this season, a fresh name will be competing for the Golden Boot.

After the France star departed Paris Saint-Germain at the end of his contract, Madrid signed Kylian Mbappe in July. The 2018 World Cup champion has established himself as one of the favorites to finish this season with the most goals scored.

He is, however, behind a revitalized Lewandowski, who stormed to the top of the standings with a brace in the spectacular 4-0 El Clasico thumping in late October.
