Lennon Miller is “outstanding,” and Nils Koppen publicly transfers to Rangers.
Just hours after beginning his new position as technical director at Ibrox,
Koppen personally watched the 18-year-old play for Scotland Under-19s,
making him a target for the Gers [The Scottish Sun]. Celtic and other English
teams are apparently vying for the highly regarded midfield player.
The young player is currently getting ready for a match against Ross County on Saturday,
November 23, and it’s obvious that Staggies manager Cowie is very much considering him.
He stated: “Lennon is an outstanding prospect and it says a lot that Stuart
[Kettlewell] has placed so much faith in him,” as reported by The Scottish Sun on November 22 (page 50).
“He clearly has talent given how much football he plays at his age and the caliber of team he plays with.”
Lennon Miller at Rangers is what Nils Koppen wants.
The Light Blues’ desire to become a stronger force in the Scottish Premiership and get
closer to their Old Firm rivals is well known.
Signing the top players from within the division—Miller being one of them—could be one approach to do this.

After signing Aberdeen’s Connor Barron on a free transfer in the summer,
the Ibrox club has already demonstrated the potential benefits of this.
The midfield player has shown himself to be a valuable member of Philippe Clement’s team,
so fans have excellent reason to be optimistic if a similar acquisition can be made in the future.
