Ben Davies mooted to start for Tottenham v Manchester City amid ‘frustrating’ injury news
Following Cristian Romero’s latest injury, Lilywhite Rose,
the proprietor of the respected Spurs podcast, is furious.
Romero is scheduled to miss Spurs’ Premier League match at the
Etihad Stadium on November 23 due to an injury he sustained while playing for Argentina.
Wenham, in an exclusive interview with Tottenham News, does,
however, have faith in Davies to perform.
Similar to last year, Spurs may be without Romero and Micky van de Ven for their journey to the Etihad Stadium.
Davies and Emerson Royal started that game, which ended in a 3-3 draw between Spurs and City (3 December 2023)
Spurs gave up three goals even though they didn’t lose the game.
As a result, it makes sense that supporters would be concerned about Davies starting away
against the Premier League winners once more.
The 31-year-old will be eager to make an impact if he is selected,
especially since his long-term future is uncertain.
