Three days ago, Fotbolldirekt stated that Crystal Palace, Fulham, and Sheffield United were interested in IF Elfsborg’s Terry Yegbe. It was also stated that the Swedish club would want €5 million to complete his deal in the winter market. The defender joined Elfsborg from Finnish club SJK earlier this year, signing a contract until December 2028.

According to Borås Tidning, the Eagles, Fulham, and Championship side are all interested in the 23-year-old player, as reported by Fotbolldirekt. They bring this up during a conversation with Elfsborg Club Manager Stefan Andreasson. It’s important mentioning that he’s not the Swedish club’s head coach, but rather its director.

Yegbe made 35 appearances for the Swedish club under Oscar Hiljemark’s supervision, including four Europa League matches. Crystal Palace, Fulham, and Sheffield United are among the clubs interested in signing him.
Andreasson has expressed his team’s wish to keep the centre-back beyond the current season.

He is well aware that Yegbe would depart at some point and has encouraged him to join a team in the top five leagues. This rules out a transfer to Sheffield United. “I won’t talk about the teams, but there is a lot of interest in him. “Terry is smart and surrounded by smart people,” he remarked.

“We don’t want to be the middle club; we want to be able to go right to the top five leagues – Hákon Valdimarsson is an excellent illustration of this.

“I am confident Terry will have a long and successful career outside of Sweden, but we also expect him to play for Elfsborg next year. He has yet to play a full season for Elfsborg. At the same time, everyone understands that things may change quickly in this business.”
