JUST IN : Leeds United’s promotion winner poised to join SPL side as free agent

Barry Douglas, the Leeds United promotion winner, is supposedly likely to sign for an SPL club as a free agent.
Douglas, a left back who left Polish club Lech Poznan in the summer, is said to be on the verge of joining St Johnstone.
The club’s new manager is ex-Finnish international Simo Valakari, who has already signed Croatian centre-back Bozo Mikulic, and Douglas watched Saturday’s SPL game against Ross County from the stands.

According to the Scottish Sun, Douglas, who is now 35, is expected to move to McDiarmid Park next week. St Johnstone is sixth in the table after seven games.
