Following their turbulent 2-2 tie at The Amex Stadium at the end of last month, Nuno Espirito Santo and Morgan
Gibbs-White admitted to an FA charge. As a result, they were both issued with fines and suspensions.
The manager of Nottingham Forest has been handed a three-game touchline ban; two of those games are for his red
card against the Seagulls, which also triggered a one-match suspended penalty due to remarks he made following the
team’s 2-0 loss to Everton in the previous season. Nuno also received a £55,000 fine.Following their turbulent 2-2
tie at The Amex Stadium at the end of last month, Nuno Espirito Santo and Morgan Gibbs-White admitted to an FA
charge. As a result, they were both issued with fines and suspensions.
Nuno Espirito Santo, Morgan Gibbs-White, and Fabian Hurzeler were charged following incidents in the 83rd
minute of the Premier League match between Nottingham Forest and Brighton & Hove Albion on Sunday,
September 22. Gibbs-White was given a one-game suspension and fined £20,000 for his reaction to being shown a
second yellow card and being sent off following his sliding challenge on Joao Pedro. Brighton boss Hurzeler also
accepted his charge and was fined £8,000 after taking the standard penalty.
