Cheikhou Kouyate is undergoing a medical at Leeds United today after the club decided to sign him, sources have told Football Insider.
The move comes as a significant U-turn as talks between the two parties had collapsed at the weekend, and Football Insider revealed that Leeds had been considering alternative options to the Senegal international.
However, the Yorkshire giants have now changed their minds and are close to completing a move for the experienced midfielder.
The 34-year-old has been a free agent since the end of last season when he left Nottingham Forest, and he has been linked with a move to the Whites in recent days.
