Juventus transfer interest in two Everton players to solve goal-scoring issues
Juventus could be looking to bolster their No. 9 position in 2025, and reports from Italy reveal that the Old Lady could be plotting to secure one of two Everton FC players.
So far this season, the Old Lady’s defense has been the backbone of Thiago Motta’s squad in Serie A, only conceding one goal. However, the team’s weakness appears to be its goal-scoring, as the squad has scored 10 goals.
Inter Milan (16) and Napoli (14) are the two clubs ahead of them in the Serie A table and their league title rivals are beginning to distance themselves in terms of goals scored.
The Old Lady has two Everton players on their radar
La Gazzetta dello Sport (h/t Calciomercato) reports that Juventus are looking to sign a center-forward who can serve as Dušan Vlahović’s backup. One option on the table is Everton’s Beto.
The former Udinese striker hasn’t featured since September and has only played 43 minutes this Premier League season. Beto has made 43 appearances across all competitions for the Toffees, scoring six goals and recording two assists.
Juventus are keeping a close eye on the situation and will monitor it in the coming months, hoping Everton might be willing to consider a loan deal.
Meanwhile, Corriere dello Sport reports that Juventus also have another player in mind to help solve their goal-scoring issues and may target Everton forward Dominic Calvert-Lewin, whose contract is set to expire next summer.
