The country intends to host the 2034 World Cup, and it wants its team to be competitive in the competition.

To develop players of that caliber, many young Saudi Arabian footballers will be leased out throughout Europe to get experience, which might aid Newcastle.

Since 2021, the Magpies have been bankrolled by Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund, and this relationship could lead to Newcastle becoming the club to profit from the most brilliant young players discovered in the following years.

Newcastle could end up loaning a future star

Wyness told Football Insider’s Inside Track podcast: “It’s intriguing; I can’t get into too much detail, but I was part in a recent effort to re-look at the Saudi academy system.

“Looking at it in terms of how to win the World Cup in 2034.

“Now, a large part of creating a team, and if you suppose 2034, a lot of the youngsters right now are 10 years away from the World Cup, so they’ll be 10 to 14, 15, 16, potentially up to 18. “So, sometime between ten and eighteen.

“A number of those kids who started their football careers in those years may now be loaned out to Newcastle or other teams. “There could be some fantastic talent available if it meets all of the FIFA criteria. “If a great well of youth is discovered in Saudi Arabia, it could have a positive impact on Newcastle.” “Whether it’s there or not, we’ll have to see; no one has ever properly looked for it before.

“But, if there is I’m sure there will be a big discovery and a big nurturing of that talent and Newcastle could benefit from that point of view.” In other news, Newcastle sources provide a significant Jonathan David update.
