Robert Saleh was fired; would the Eagles turn to Nick Sirianni next?
Although Nick Sirianni is facing criticism in his role as head coach of the Philadelphia Eagles,
he wasn’t the first coach to be let go in this cycle. Robert Saleh, the head coach of the New York Jets,
will get the distinction on Tuesday morning. Saleh was sacked on Monday after meeting with media,
despite the team’s lackluster 2-3 start to the season.
This indicates that owner Woody Johnson made the decision swiftly and firmly.
Nick Sirianni might come next. Similar to Saleh,
Sirianni was under fire heading into the season following a lackluster 2023 campaign.
In his first three seasons as head coach,
Sirianni has made it to the playoffs three times, unlike Saleh.
