REPORT : Everton ready to offer £25.4m and more for 26y/o attacker

The winger, who is on loan from VfB Stuttgart at Red Star Belgrade, may leave during the winter transfer window,

according to a report by X from Sky Sports Germany on Monday, October 7.

There is a release clause in Silas’ contract worth approximately £8.4 million (€10 million), and the Toffees, along with La Liga powerhouse Villarreal, are reportedly interested in signing him.

Red Star will receive any transfer for the attacker, while Stuttgart will get ten to fifteen percent of any money earned during the January transfer window.

 

Even though the summer transfer window ended just a few months ago, the Toffees appear to be making plans now in order to be ready to go right out of the gate at Goodison when the new year arrives.

Sean Dyche and his recruiting staff will be anxious to bolster their attacking options as they attempt to rise away

from the Premier League relegation zone and on the face of it, Silas would be a terrific acquisition. The 26-year-old

is playing for Red Star in the Champions League, and although he hasn’t scored in the first two group stage games,

he has been playing well at home thus far.
