Muhamed Diomande, an Albion player and former Wolves junior defender, is considering a road to the first team after seeing one with the Baggies.

After moving across the Black Country border, the 18-year-old,

who was born and raised in Italy, has been a fixture for Richard Beale’s under-21 team this season.

Diomande was a successful trialist at The Hawthorns,

having been released by Wolves following a four-year tenure.

After a challenging start to the season with crushing losses to Norwich and Brighton in Premier League 2,

Albion’s youth players have bounced back nicely.

Beale’s team started a four-game winning streak that would have been nearly five had they not lost in a penalty shootout at National League Ebbsfleet after a 2-2 draw.

The adolescent wants to contribute because he views Tom Fellows as an example

of success in the club’s academy, which is something the new owners of Bilkul Football really value.

“It’s about building my profile,” Diamonde stated. ”

I want to play for the first team, whether that means making an appearance in the league or the cup.

If that doesn’t happen, going on loan is always an option too.”

“Based on my hard work and the amount of players our club has produced that play at the highest level,

I think we can advance me.

On Friday night, Diomande and Albion’s under-21 team will play Leeds United in York in an attempt to gain ground on the 26-team Premier League 2 top half.

The 16-year-old defender-turned-midfielder Dauda Idrissa,

an Italian national who only signed scholarship documents in the summer,

is another young player who has caught the attention of the under-21 team.

Idrissa made his senior debut in August’s first-team EFL Cup loss at Fleetwood, coming on as a second-half substitute.

Defender Diomande continued, “The coaches are very good.

” “They’re straightforward and honest as people, which aids in our development right now.

The most important thing is that we can depend on them.

My main goal is to give it everything I have here and see where it goes.
