Newcastle United are seeking for a new right-winger, and while there are several choices, the club has been advised to make a bid for a

Manchester United winger who was once tipped to be the next big star at Old Trafford.

Newcastle is looking for a new right-winger to replace Miguel Almiron and Jacob Murphy, and Amad Diallo has been mentioned as a

potential candidate.

The 22-year-old, who has spent time on loan at Rangers and Sunderland, is failing to hold onto a first-team spot at Manchester United,

and with his contract expiring in the summer of 2025, it is thought that the Magpies may get a bargain.

Diallo, a pacey winger who can play in any of the front three positions, impressed at The Stadium of Light during the 2022-23 season and

returned to Manchester United that summer, but only appeared 12 times for Erik ten Hag’s team last season.

Diallo was signed from Atalanta for £19 million in 2019, and while he has impressed in flashes, a new contract at Old Trafford is far from

guaranteed.

On The Everything is Black and White Podcast, The Mirror’s Simon Bird said that Diallo may be a possibility for The Magpies to

investigate. He performed admirably at Sunderland, and I believe that with the right management and framework in place, he has the

potential to be a truly elite player. His contract is up, and Man United will undoubtedly want to renew it, but if Amad Diallo is free in the

summer or available in January, you may be looking at him if he is not a member of Man United’s first squad. “He’d produce moments of

magic [at Newcastle] – he’s done well for Manchester United when he’s come on, despite not being a regular. Diallo would be a bargain; to

get that type of talent for so little would be a steal.”
