£42m star wanted in the summer scores special Champions League hat-trick vs Celtic

On Tuesday night in the Champions League, a player that West Ham coveted

during the summer was playing brilliantly.

The Hammers’ roster this season is, on paper, far stronger than ours

The Spaniard signed Niclas Fullkrug, yet it’s highly doubtful if he’s the appropriate

man for the job. Most people agree that Lopetegui ought to have made a major splash

in the summer transfer window to recruit a dynamic forward.

We had the ideal candidate in front of us, but ultimately we were unable to sign him.

In the summer, West Ham attempted to sign Karim Adeyemi from Borussia Dortmund.

According to BVB Buzz, the Bundesliga team was requesting about £42 million for Adeyemi.

And in the UEFA Champions League on Tuesday night, Adeyemi was playing for Borussia

Dortmund in incredible fashion.

They thrashed Scottish heavyweights Celtic 7-1 at Signal Iduna Park,

and he scored a very spectacular hat-trick.

He is obviously lightning fast, but he can also play wide on the left, right,

or through the middle. He is also a superb finisher.

West Ham ought to have taken a chance and signed Karim Adeyemi during the summer

transfer window, in my opinion.

Without a doubt, he would have been a far better choice for us than Fullkrug.

Furthermore, his hat-trick in the Champions League versus Celtic demonstrates his brilliance.
