DONE DEAL: Bristol Rovers have accepted Leeds United’s bid for Kofi Shaw as parties reach an agreement of terms.
Leeds United are reportedly eyeing up a move for Kofi Shaw as Daniel Farke looks to bolster his squad for another tough season in the Championship.
After getting so close to promotion back to the Premier League, losing in the play-off finals in heartbreaking fashion, the German manager knows that the fanbase won’t settle for anything less this time around.
Unfortunately for Farke, he does not have the same arsenal of players to select from as last season, with a host of top-quality players like Archie Gray no longer with the team.
Despite their shaky start to the season, Leeds have pulled themselves together just in time, winning four of their last five games although they remain fifth spot.
The loss of Gray is clearly evident in the middle of the park but according to reports from journalist Alan Nixon via his Patreon, Leeds may look to another young star to take over his mantle.
Nixon claims that the club are big fans of Bristol Rovers’ Shaw but may face competition from Aston Villa who have also shown an interest in the young star.
At just 17, it will still be a major question whether he can come to Elland Road and be the difference maker for Leeds if a deal was to be completed.
