Everton’s point at Leicester last week was the sole bright spot in a terrible season for the Toffees. To make matters worse, Sean Dyche has a long list of unavailable players, with Ukrainian international Vitalii Mykolenko perhaps available for selection after being ill.

Jarrad Branthwaite appeared for the club’s under-21 team as he recovers from a groin injury, with Real Madrid reportedly interested in signing him. If he is close to full fitness, Sean Dyche may include him in the team. Nathan Patterson also appeared in that under-21 game. He, too, may be prepared to return to the first team.
