Ipswich Town boss Kieran McKenna is impressed with start Jacob Greaves has made to Premier League season
Jacob Greaves, the defender for Ipswich Town, has a “really bright future.”
according to his manager, Kieran McKenna.
In his first season in the top level, the 24-year-old has dominated the Premier League
after joining the Blues from Hull City in the summer for a rumored fee of about £15 million.
Greaves, who has started all five of Town’s games this season,
has made six interceptions and won 33 of his duels (67%) against opponents like Brighton,
Manchester City and Liverpool, who have all lost just one game this year.
“He’s adjusted quite well; no question about it. Having him here early in the season
was beneficial, and I think his performances reflect that. McKenna said of his center-back,
who made the transition from Sky Bet Championship football to the Premier League
after three complete seasons.
