Vorskla Poltava 1–0 Celt

19 SEPTEMBER THURSDAY

Using CP 1-2 Actual Madrid
For Madrid, who have never failed to advance past the group stage, Melanie Leupolz scored deep into extra time in her European debut.

Andreia Bravo’s penalty kick shortly before halftime cancelled out Athenea del Castillo’s opening goal for Sporting,

who had recently eliminated four-time champions Frankfurt in the first round.

Galatasaray: 2–1. Praha Slavia
For her new club Galatasaray, Andrea Stašková scored goals in both of the round one matches.

The former Sparta Praha star scored twice for the European debutants against her Czech counterparts in the second half.

Tereza Szewieczková, who is trying to qualify for the group stage for the third consecutive season,

responded with a goal, but Barbora Polcarová headed an equalizer with the penultimate touch of the match for the three-time quarterfinalists.

Mura 3-0 St. Pölten
The Austrian champions, who are also vying for a third straight group spot,

are well-positioned to make a comeback in Slovenia thanks to goals from Kamila Dubcová, Melike Pekel, and Izabela Križaj in the second half.

TUESDAY, September 18, 2018

3-1 Paris Saint-Germain to Juventus
Paris, who have advanced to the quarterfinals or higher each of the previous five seasons,

will have to work hard to maintain their unbeaten group stage record.

Juve’s standout performance came from Sofia Cantore’s single goal.

Häcken 1-1 Arsenal
With 13 minutes remaining, Tabitha Tindell scored for Häcken, the 2023–24 quarterfinalists,

who were aiming for their third group position in four years. With the most of the action, Arsenal struck the woodwork twice.

FC Paris 0–5 City of Manchester
With two memorable first-half goals—Jess Park capping off a masterful team move and Vivianne Miedema’s incredible volley on her competitive City debut against the same team that eliminated Wolfsburg and Arsenal in qualifying last year—Man City is headed for a group debut.

1–2 Hammarby, Benfica
Julie Blakstad gave the European debutants an early lead, thrilling the 12,062 spectators—a tournament record for qualifying in any format.

However, Andreia Norton and Cristina Martin-Prieto scored either side of halftime.

Wolfsburg 0–7 Fiorentina
At this point, Wolfsburg appears to be unlikely to lose again after Alex Popp

scored a hat-trick in her 98th appearance on the continent, bringing her total goal total to 35 in the competition.

Osijek 1–4 Twenty-one
After a flurry of goals in the second half in Croatia, including a fantastic first-time chip from Alieke Tuin to make it 2-1, Twente looks set to repeat Ajax’s group debut from the previous season.

Anderlecht 1-1 Vålerenga
Vålerenga will take a lead back to Norway due to early goals by Michaela Dominique Kovacs (who was later sent off) and Karina Saevik.
