Steven Schumacher Would Have Got You Top Half, Former EFL Star Tells Stoke City

Adrian Clarke, a former star of the English Football League, believes that

Stoke City’s current team is the best it has been in years and believes

Steven Schumacher could have guided them to a top-half finish.
Stoke added a number of players during the summer transfer window,

but after not achieving the kind of start they had hoped for, the Potters management made the decision to let Schumacher go.

Narcis Pelach, a first team coach at Norwich City, was chosen by the Potters to replace Schumacher in a hurry.

In an interview with What The EFL, Parkin stated, “Every manager that comes in at Stoke, the many,

many managers, they all talked about great games at the start and for whatever reason it has not really clicked for them.”

“Well, let’s see what [Pelech] is capable of.

“I think this Stoke team is among the best Stoke teams in a long, long time.

“I believe Schumacher would have placed them in the top half, and this team is truly capable of finishing in the top half.”

Pelach’s move flopped, so let’s give him another chance, but only if he does that.

On Friday, Pelech will be the Stoke manager in the dugout as the Potters take on on strugglers Hull City.
